WHY WE LOVE IT: At Archaia, we love bringing great comics from all over theworld to English-speaking audiences, stories they would never get to seeotherwise (see The Killer, Okko, Toppi's The Collector, and others). Whenwe read French title March of the Crabs by animator Arthur De Pins, we knewright away we had to add it to our list! WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT: Arthur DePins' art style is a slick, fun tribute to Art Deco, something rarely seenin comics. The story of a hapless species of crab is an endearing look at one ofnature's cruel jokes, but made light by a humorous presentation withlikable characters, reminiscent of films like Ice Age and Finding Nemo. WHATIT'S ALL ABOUT: For centuries, the square crab has only been able to moveside-to-side in one direction. But some brave crabs decide it's time forrevolution! A few of the brave crustaceans in an estuary on the French coastlinedecide it's time to try and actually turn for once, but what does theirevolution revolution mean for the human race?
