Honor Cargill-Martin is an author and ancient historian from London. She has been writing fiction for young people since she was sixteen, co-authoring a trilogy of YA novels published by Simon and Schuster. Her first adult non-fiction, a biography of the 1st century AD empress Messalina, was published by Head of Zeus. Honor has a first-class degree in Classical Archaeology and Ancient History, a distinction in her masters in Greek and Roman history, focusing her research on ancient women, and a second masters with distinction in Italian Renaissance Art History at the Courtauld. Honor is currently studying for her PhD in Ancient History at Oxford. Honor is incredibly passionate about sharing the history of the ancient world with readers of all ages.
